Google has officially updated the Android 12 beta version for some smartphones today.
Although this beta version is still not really stable, it also has most of the new features of the official Android 12 version.
A member of the Reddit forum while experiencing the Android 12 beta, discovered a new game mode support, which is well hidden by Google. To be able to access this game mode, you will have to go to Settings > Digital Wellbeing > Do Not Disturb > Schedules.
Here you will see there is a Game mode, and can enable it. If you click on the gear next to Game mode, you will be taken to a new menu with 6 different options.
The four options above correspond to functions: Take a quick screenshot, record a video of the screen, display FPS on the screen and do not disturb mode. These are quite interesting and useful new features that support playing games on smartphones.
And below there are 2 options, Game Optimization and YouTube Live. Game Optimization can be a feature that helps optimize the performance of smartphones to play games, which can be activated to increase performance and in return will consume more battery. And YouTube Live helps to stream the game screen directly to YouTube's streaming platform.
It is not clear why Google hides this new Game mode so carefully in the Android 12 beta. But can be sure that the official version of Android 12 will help users access the new Game mode more easily. For now, users can experience the Game mode of Android 12 beta on Google Pixel 4.
