'Death pit' suddenly appeared and swallowed a woman

A woman riding a bicycle has died after falling into a deep pit that suddenly appeared on the road.

Video taken on May 13, the road next to the Dazhong Qujiang Campus station in northern China collapsed, leaving a 5m deep hole. The woman riding a bicycle passed by at the time of the collapse. She was rescued but did not survive the critical condition in the hospital. Cause of the accident is under investigation.
