A policeman chased the thug on foot when he threatened people with a knife on a busy street.
The brave police officer seen in the video rushed out from the team's car, after spotting the man with the star threatening people at around 5:30pm on May 16 in Northampton, UK.
Police officer Carl Gardner chased the suspect along the street and quickly knocked him down. A plainclothes police officer then appeared to assist Gardner in handcuffing the suspect and taking him to the station.
Andrew Richard Griffin, 28, was charged with possession of an assault weapon in a public place.
